Eligibility criteria for membership of TOGS
Life & Patron
- MBBS or an equivalent degree recognized by the Medical Council of India (Act l936) or the Maharashtra Medical Council.
- Along with a postgraduate degree, diploma in the subject of Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Human Reproduction and/or Family Welfare, recognized and registered with the Medical Council of India (Act 1956) or the Maharashtra Medical Council
- Must be staying, residing in Thane district
- Must NOT be a member of any other FOGSI member society if applicant is a life member of any other FOGSI affiliated society then he/she has to resign from that society and then he/she can become TOGS life member
Associate members
- All other registered medical persons with MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by the Medical Council of India (Act 1956) or the Maharashtra Medical Council who do not fulfill the criteria of membership listed above but are involved or interested in the practice, study or research in Obstetrics. Gynecology, Human Reproduction or Family Welfare may be admitted as an Associate Member.
- Those members of other professional bodies and holding postgraduate degrees in other medical specialties residing in Thane jurisdiction can become member on paying such fees as applicable
